Hi Jeremy. This is just to say how much I enjoyed reading your interview. Good to hear such a positive uplifting story.
" When we sing, our minds get united. While singing, the intellect is not working. Singing happens on the level of the heart; it creates a sense of unity in the whole group. There is so much unity that it begins to radiate to the environment." - That reminds me of something! ;¬)

'There aren’t too many things worse in life than not being able to breathe'. - This sentence on it's own might seem absurd to some but it resonated with me because I remember the first time I tried acid, the wonderful sensation of air surrounding me and being part of me. I'm going to look into this further because I know several children who suffer from asthma.

'What happens when we sing? One goes from the level of the mind to the heart. And this is where awareness, dynamism, creativity, love, joy and enthusiasm live -- In the centered mind, the big mind. I would love nothing more than to see the whole world singing together' - beautifully put.

I wish you all the best with your studies, teaching, music and especially your school in Bangalore.

p.s. 'Love Moves The World' - I'm still looking out for this. Maybe I missed it?

No, you did not miss it. I was in the studio in June, it's on hold now. I am building a home studio here, it's gonna be the first song i record. You'll have it before my mom.

Nice note man, I appreciate that.

How have you been? Would be nice to catch up, please send me an e-mail. jopoems --- hotmail

that's great Jeremy! Wish I had that sense of adventure. I would like to experience a society that is isn't so ethnocentric as this Country. But I must admit I am spoiled and enjoy my conveniences too.

Thanks for that link, I'm glad to have a fellow lover of India! Been there many times in the last 30 years and will go back in january, I fell in love with that country and many aspects of it when I was about 18. One of the great gifts was that my wife and myself were able to adopt 2 kids, infants, from Bangalore, grown up now and doing so well.

I still wonder what Jerry's relationship to India was, there must have been some reason that Bobby and Deborah took his ashes to the ganges in 96 and that there is part of it in the Bay and part in India, well - I don't know, would be really interesting to find out...

Take care, maybe we meet in India one day!

having them all be in the bay is the ONLY thing that made sense to me. Jerry was an SF native through and through
